"Self Portrait" 2011
Greetings!
I am blogging as part of a class assignment. The class is Environmental Biology.
My name is Christy Stauffenberg. I am a freelance graphic designer for my own business, Stauffenberg Studio. I am studying graphic design at Yavapai College. I will receive my degree after this semester. Graphic design is an active part of my life and I would be flattered if you all became followers of my work.
Check out the links below!

To tell you a little about myself I was born in Riverton, Wy but I grew up in Sturgis, SD.
I spent the last ten years in Camp Verde, AZ but currently I am in Montana.
Lately I have been reading books by Tom Robbins. Lets face it, if you find a book with a title "Half Asleep In Frog Pajamas" you should probably read it. Right?

Please feel free to see my graphic design work at:

  1. I went to Sturgis a few years back when my friends and I were visiting Black Hills. Did you get into the whole bike scene?

  2. Not really. I do like motorcycles and riding but I never made it my lifestyle. You see a lot of bad things during the bike week. You learn fast in Sturgis to stay clear of certain people and situations.

  3. Yeah, I imagine bike week is nuts out there. We went the week before bike week and it was quite the thing to see. If you've ever seen Back to the Future part two, Sturgis kinda of reminded me of that scene in the movie where all the bikers are just kinda riding around the town square in front of Biff's giant casino. People were getting so intense about it, and it wasn't even bike week yet.

  4. You went at a good time. When I go back to visit I always go before the rally. Me and my friends have a big gathering we do out at sand creek every year we call "Peace before Rally"

  5. Nice to meet you too Colleen. I am south of Great Falls in Helena. Crazy we probably passed each other. You were heading south and me north. Cool.

  6. What a talent you have! I really enjoyed seeing your art. Well, I suppose I should add that I lived in Montana back in the 80's - Gallatin Gateway, Great Falls, and Rocky Boy (in that order). Good to meet you!
